My head, My heart

Last Thursday I woke up at 5:30 a.m. to feed Taryn. I got out of bed and started walking to her room. I got to our bedroom door and Clay asked me to get him some socks for work out of Taryn's room. I closed our door partially and continued to walk. I took two more steps and then I don't remember anything. I guess I kept walking and instead of going right into Taryn's room, I went left and into the bathroom. I passed out in the bathroom and hit my head on something in there. Clay heard the noise and called out to me. I didn't answer so he got up and came to find me. He was on his way to Taryn's room when I started to come out of the bathroom. We were both confused. I grabbed my head because it hurt, then I looked at my hand and saw blood on my hand. We made sure I was OK for the most part. We got Taryn and went to the hospital. After about 6-7 hours of observation they sent us home. They don't know why I blacked out/passed out. They said I could get a staple or two if I wanted, but that I didn't have to have them. I chose not to get them. While I was there they did an EKG and it came back not normal but also not abnormal. They said that my heart is just built different then others. The doctor told us that my natural pacemaker is in a different spot then other peoples. So it takes the electric pulse longer to reach the other spots to make the muscles contract, therefore my EKG will look different. But the doctor said that my heart works efficiently so I am fine. I do have a follow up appointment tomorrow morning. After the normal appointment I have a cardiogram, they want to see if the actual heart muscles are affected by this. I also have to do a 24 hour EKG, where I wear a portable EKG thing for one day. I will have to write down if I feel faint or anything while I wear it. I am not allowed to drive until after my appointment tomorrow, if the doctor gives me the OK. I will make sure to post an update after we know more!
